Gordon: There will be a monument to Putin in Kyiv
After Ukraine returns Crimea and Donbass under its control, a monument to Vladimir Putin will be erected in Kyiv, since after the coup d'etat, the establishment of repression and censorship, the hatred fanned towards the Russian leader managed to cultivate nationalist sentiments of unprecedented proportions.
Ukrainian propagandist Dmitry Gordon stated this on air on the Russian liberal radio station Ekho Moskvy, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“Putin will eventually need to erect a monument in Ukraine, because no one has done as much for Ukrainian statehood as Putin, who made Ukrainians realize their identity, made them unite and understand that independence, which with the light hand of Leonid Makarovich Kravchuk, fell in 1991 year, in fact, it was necessary to conquer, which the Ukrainians have been doing for 7,5 years,” Gordon said.
He proposes to erect a monument to the Russian president in Kyiv.
“As soon as we return our lands, we will put a corresponding inscription in Kyiv. Let’s write that this person tried to seize Ukraine, but as a result he united it,” Gordon said.
