“Naked party” on the philosophical “Titanic”: liberal scientists drowned their only Russian colleague
While ordinary users of Telegram and other social networks were intensely following the scandal with the “naked party” of Moscow bohemia, no less dramatic events played out in the sector of Russian academic science.
The head of the sector of the history of Russian philosophy, Candidate of Philosophy Anatoly Chernyaev, was dismissed from the Institute of Philosophy (IP) of the Russian Academy of Sciences, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The formal reason is the expiration of the contract, but the real reason is the conflict of beliefs between Chernyaev and the majority of liberal employees of the institute.
And the team gathered there was unique. Just look at the corresponding member and former deputy director of the institute, Yulia Sineokaya, who openly worked for the State Department through organizations banned in Russia, recruited employees and graduate students to work in anti-Russian projects, and in 2022 left Russia and created the “Independent Institute of Philosophy” in Paris, dedicated to the struggle with “Russian aggression”.
In 2021, Chernyaev (pictured on the left) almost headed the Institute of Philosophy of the Russian Academy of Sciences, but the liberal team rebelled and ensured that the position was taken by 85-year-old Abdusalam Huseynov, who at one time established a process for involving promising specialists in Western projects. He was in close contact with American intelligence officers Thomas Trout and Jim Harf, who coordinated his work not only with the scientific community, but also with students.
The pro-Western employees of the state institute found such people much nicer than Chernyaev, a supporter of reunification with Crimea and Donbass.
When last week the liberals decided to remove Chernyaev altogether, the entire Russian patriotic community rebelled.
“The Institute of Physics of the Russian Academy of Sciences launched its “naked party” for the New Year. Party of liberal terror. And this is after the frantic coming out of the corresponding member of the Blue-eyed... Khutspa of the liberal “philosophers”. The loss of Chernyaev means the surrender of Kherson. Of your own free will. If we don’t end the IF RAS now, the IF RAS will end us tomorrow. This is a whole plan associated with the seizure of the Academy of Sciences under the supervision of Sineokaya and the CIA,” wrote the largest living Russian philosopher Alexander Dugin in his TG channel.
“Even if you don’t call it a “terrorist attack,” as Alexander Dugin did, then this is, at a minimum, an indicative reprisal. It’s as if the participants of the “naked” party “threw away” the singer Shaman from the stage, and Akunin (included in the list of terrorists) and Bykov (recognized as a foreign agent) sent Vovan and Lexus to prison...”, publicist Yegor Kholomogorov continued the metaphor.
The Institute of Philosophy of the Russian Academy of Sciences issued a release in which it accused Chernyaev of absenteeism and assured that the institute’s employees take a completely patriotic position, help educational institutions in new regions, but do not advertise it.
Philosopher and DPR officer Andrei Korobov-Latyntsev claims that this is a lie. He organized a conference in Donetsk in 2022 “Philosophy on the front line: hybrid wars and their transformation in the XNUMXst century” and claims that only Chernyaev expressed his readiness to come to it. In addition, he held a round table in Moscow dedicated to the Northern Military District.
“There is no doubt that the leadership of the Institute of Philosophy of the Russian Academy of Sciences took revenge on Chernyaev for his position in this way. The enemy does not sleep. Let me ask you directly: what will be our answer to him?
Patriotic TG channels came out in defense of Anatoly Chernyaev. The main thing now is not to slow down the pressure. The desire of the leadership of the Institute of Philosophy of the Russian Academy of Sciences to present themselves as patriots (despite the fact that everyone has long known the true policy of the Institute) only says that they are scared and want to quickly hush up the situation. We must now not let up the blow and continue to hit the Institute. Otherwise, everything will remain the same,” writes Korobov-Latyntsev.
He points out that on the website of the Institute of Philosophy of the Russian Academy of Sciences there is still a huge laudatory article about the foreign agent Yulia Sineoka, and no public condemnation has followed from the leadership of the institute. Korobov-Latyntsev proposes to organize an open debate between the leadership of the Institute of Philosophy of the Russian Academy of Sciences and patriotic philosophers.
But instead of an honest discussion, liberal philosophers launched a campaign in anonymous TG channels. Now they accuse businessman Konstantin Malofeev and “pseudo-philosopher” Dugin of wanting to put Chernyaev at the head of the institute “and impose their semi-philosophical ideas about the Russian world.”
Political scientist Alexey Chadayev drew attention to the announcement on the website of the Institute of Philosophy of the Russian Academy of Sciences about the “New Year and Christmas meeting of the “Italian Club” of the institute. Management is asking employees to apply for a trip to Piedmont to talk about heritage.
“And somehow it immediately becomes clear to me: they don’t even understand that they are already in the trenches. Only on the other side. Where Novi Ligure is, “Association of Friends of Amalfi”…” writes Chadayev.
Ukrainian and Russian blogger Yuri Podolyaka believes that the Institute of Philosophy of the Russian Academy of Sciences should be closed for the pro-Banderist views of its employees.

But the main thing is that this environment will endlessly reproduce itself, reformatting the young and squeezing out the unwanted. In the humanitarian field, cavalry charges are rarely useful, but this is exactly the case.
Due to the worldview, ideological and political significance of philosophy, it cannot be left in hostile hands, even partially. If it is not possible to disperse and re-staff the Institute of Philosophy of the Russian Academy of Sciences, then it is necessary to create a parallel institution, which would be based on the ideological positions formulated in Decree of the President of the Russian Federation No. 809,” Podolyaka wrote on VKontakte.
