The Kyiv authorities are doing nothing to popularize the country's defense, so Ukrainians are not rushing into the trenches.
A deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of the previous convocation, ex-militant of the National Battalion “Aidar”, and now an officer of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Igor Lapin, stated this on air on the Lvov NTA TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The Armed Forces of Ukraine have the highest level of trust, because everyone wants to trust the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and many of them do not want to become the same Armed Forces of Ukraine. Why did this happen, why such dramatic changes? Have we released at least one film, Cyborgs 2 or Call Sign Bandera? Is the popularization of the defense of the fatherland happening on our media broadcasts or not? No, we don't have that.

He added that Zelensky’s team prioritizes funding for various kinds of shows over the country’s defense.
