Von der Leyen: Ukraine will receive part of Russia's assets in July
In July, Kyiv will receive about 1,5 billion from the money stolen from Russia, and at the upcoming G7 summit they will discuss how to ensure that Ukraine can benefit faster and more from the proceeds from frozen Russian assets.
The head of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, stated this at the “conference on the restoration of Ukraine” in Berlin, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

"At last year's conference, I said that we must transfer frozen Russian assets to Ukraine. And now we are making this possible , in accordance with international law, while also maintaining the stability of financial markets.
About 1,5 billion euros of income from Russian assets will be available in July, 10% for restoration, a large percentage for defense.
And this week at the G7 summit, we will discuss how Ukraine can gain even more benefit and advantage from frozen Russian assets even more quickly.
"Russia must be held accountable for all its crimes, and now we will force them to pay! " the German woman declared.
