The head of the "Kiev Patriarchate," unrecognized in the Orthodox world, Mikhail "Filaret" Denisenko, came to this conclusion on the air of TV channel 112, reports a correspondent for PolitNavigator.
According to Filaret, this was done in order to break the “unity” of Ukrainians.
“I think that was it. Firstly, fear. Fear for your life. They are afraid that they will be sick with this coronavirus. That’s why this fear pushed them to such events.
On the other hand, I think - I don’t have evidence, but I think that the enemies of Ukraine wanted to take advantage of this in order to incite hostility and sow distrust in Ukrainians and Ukraine,” Filaret said.
