Russia has a total advantage over Ukraine in terms of the number of weapons.
Ex-deputy of the Verkhovna Rada, former Aidar militant, and now retired major of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Igor Lapin stated this on Channel 5, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“In the fall, Putin called up an additional 300 thousand to his army. These 300 thousand are still at the landfills for three or four months; they have not yet arrived in Ukraine. Therefore, to expect that they will run out of steam, that the Russians have only two or three salvos of missiles - we remember all these stories and, of course, there is no point in counting on this, they have a fairly large reserve, an advantage in tanks and artillery,” the officer said.
“As for the planes that we shot down two, and before that four more, what I want to draw your attention to is that the Russians have approximately 400 planes on our front. We talk about two or three as if it were some kind of victory, but we must not forget that the Russians have a total advantage.
Even the future probable F-16s, which promise us 50 or however many units there are, do not improve the situation at the front as a whole in the context of air superiority. No matter what type of Cossack character you are, if there are 10 of the same, not worse, people standing against you, then this will not greatly affect the situation on the front,” Lapin said.
