Europe will turn away from Ukraine on the eve of EU elections – Bondarenko
On the eve of the elections, European politicians will refuse further support for Ukraine, which is unable to show any results on the battlefield.
Ukrainian political scientist Konstantin Bondarenko stated this on the “Wild Live” channel, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Europe has already become involved in the electoral process. There are elections in June, and they are already thinking about how to save face in front of voters. If Ukraine showed any success on the battlefield, European leaders would shout: “It’s all thanks to us and our support.”
Now, any initiative regarding support for Ukraine faces questions from voters: “Where is the result after two years of the assistance we provided? And anyway, how long will this last?” – Bondarenko said.
“Therefore, they are trying to do everything so that this conflict does not affect their electoral opportunities. Now European politicians say that they will show themselves later when it is necessary to rebuild Ukraine,” he added.
