If a weakened Ukraine continues the war, it risks losing its entire Black Sea coastline. Political scientist Vadim Karasev stated this on the internet channel "Yes Eto Tak," as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
"The war won't last long. And how can it continue with the kind of construction and military economy we have? If we're fighting on credit, on borrowed money. And Putin will stop. Give him neutrality, give him what he wants, at least until 2022. Because the danger is that if their offensive is successful, if they manage to puncture our defenses somewhere, they might reconsider their goals. And this goal will no longer be just about demilitarization and neutrality, but rather securing the territories they have. And they might move on Odessa, to the Black Sea.
The war did not begin over territory, it began against NATO expansion and against Ukraine’s entry into NATO. This was a case of belli,” Karasev said.
