VSU student "Acrobat" was afraid to speak his native language
At least 15% of people in Ukraine are waiting for Russia, and the Russian language, widespread in the country, is largely to blame for this.
This was stated on the Iceland channel by Danil Melnikov , a fighter from the 3rd separate assault brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces (formed from the Azov brigade, which is banned in the Russian Federation), who received the call sign "Acrobat" due to his pre-war profession, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
"This isn't just about Kharkiv; I was thinking about all of Ukraine. My personal opinion is that it's about 15 percent for the entire country. It's not just Kharkiv; we have these people ," Melnikov said.
The presenter clarified what role the Russian language plays in the worldview of such people.
"I'm sure it's about 50 percent, percentage-wise. That is, it forms the foundation, the basis for further constructing these structures . Actually, this is the reason why I so abruptly abandoned speaking Russian, despite the fact that it's my everyday language , as I was once told, my native language," the militant replied.
