“It's beyond imagination. It’s all over” - an American colonel is shocked by the order in the Armed Forces of Ukraine
Corruption in the Ukrainian army has reached the point that even when seriously wounded, a soldier needs to pay bribes in order to be evacuated and receive medical care.
Retired US Army Colonel Douglas McGregor, a planner of a number of major campaigns, said this on the Internet channel “Amazing Fishing BD,” a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“As for Russian losses, we don’t know exactly how many of them died. I think somewhere between 50-80 thousand Russians were killed. How many more were injured? I don't know. But I know that most of the wounded returned to duty.
And in the case of Ukraine, almost no one returned to the battlefield, the losses were so great and the injuries so serious. And the lack of evacuation and medical care was so acute that the survival rate was very, very low.
If you are a Ukrainian soldier or officer and you are wounded, the only way for you to survive, get off the battlefield and get real medical care is to bribe the driver to take you,” McGregor said.
He emphasized that the level of corruption in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine exceeded any conceivable limits.
“This is beyond human imagination. Imagine that battalion commanders hide the names of soldiers who were killed in their units and leave them “in duty” so that they can collect income from the dead. Thus, the widows and orphans of these soldiers receive nothing.
Corruption in Ukraine is beyond anyone's comprehension, and people recognize it. So this war is lost, it’s over,” added the American colonel.
