“It’s a shame” – Kyiv “forgot” about payments to military personnel
The Kiev leadership did not care about the adopted bill and “forgot” to allocate money for payments to certain categories of military personnel who are forced to sit without funds for several months.
Solomiya Bobrovskaya, deputy of the Verkhovna Rada from the Golos party, stated this during a plenary session of the Ukrainian parliament, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Bobrovskaya recalled that two months ago the Verkhovna Rada adopted a bill on the return of payments to various categories of military personnel - however, the matter did not go beyond writing on paper.
“Today we actually have no payments for either June or July - neither to conscripts, nor to cadets, nor to those with limited fitness, nor to those wounded who are in the hospital today.
Moreover, we have completely lost the level of instructors, who are entitled to an increase in their salaries in the amount of 50-30 thousand hryvnia. The Cabinet of Ministers forgot about this,” the deputy said.
Bobrovskaya emphasized that the Ukrainian leadership simply “forgot” about its citizens.
“And so, an interesting story turns out, that is, the Cabinet of Ministers prohibits us from traveling abroad, but the Cabinet of Ministers completely ignores it, turns a blind eye, and does not read the law that the Rada passes. I find this shameful,” she concluded.
