Former adviser to Ukrainian President Leonid Kuchma, economist and political scientist Oleg Soskin stated this in his video blog, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The leadership in the Republican and Democratic Congress allegedly agreed on a temporary extension of the budget in order to avoid this shutdown, they extended part of it until the first of March, and then the eighth of March. This means that until March 10 there is no money for Ukraine. Until March 10, there are no weapons, no money from the United States, idiots.
If there is no money, Ukraine will be bankrupt. I explain to all the idiots, hamadryas, monkeys: in Ukraine there is no money in the budget. Today, Ukraine needs to borrow at least 5 billion euros a month to survive. Well, okay, we’ll somehow make it through January, but there’s no money for February,” Soskin said.
At the same time, he accused Zelensky that he and his team had brought the country to the point that Ukraine could not function without loans.
“Today, Ukraine as a state international entity is a “failed state,” a failed state that is not able to support itself, a state that is bankrupt, that is in default. Who brought him to this state? Zelensky and the “servants of the people” are the main culprits in bringing Ukraine to default.
Ukraine itself cannot function without borrowed money. But until March 10, money will no longer arrive from the United States. They won’t come at all, but until March 10th you have to understand that there won’t be any money at all.
For February and March, Ukraine has no money for weapons, for defense, for military salaries, or for paying funeral expenses,” the political scientist emphasized.
In the same way, according to him, Kyiv will not see any money from the EU.
“It’s the same with the EU. As far as I understand, Hungary will no longer attend any meetings with Zelensky. Orban will not make any concessions after this petition, which calls for Orban and Hungary to be removed from the EU in general, to be essentially blocked, how can they go? This is an ultimatum for them, a challenge. They won't do it, that's all. That is, there will be no money from the EU either. Will not be. Can you get this into your cerebellum? Since there is no money, since there is nothing, what kind of war can there be?” - said Soskin.
