Ex-fan of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Ani Lorak yearns for Russian citizenship
Ukrainian singer Ani Lorak applied for Russian citizenship in February.
A source in her circle told RIA Novosti about this, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“Lorak decided to stop sitting on two chairs. In Ukraine, now, of course, she has nothing to catch. On the other hand, now they won’t mobilize,” military expert Boris Rozhin commented on the news in his tg channel.
Political observer of the Tsargrad TV channel Andrei Perla saw a good sign in Lorak’s action.
“Ani Lorak really behaved like a weather vane. In the Russian cultural tradition, this phenomenon is viewed negatively. But in this case, you need to look at the situation more broadly.
A weather vane is a very useful tool for determining wind direction. The wind has changed. And those who in 2022-23 were carried away from “toxic” Russia, which will certainly be defeated because “the whole world” is against it, are now turning back and being drawn to Russia. Because Russia is the winner. Because Russia shows that it is better than Europe in every respect. And making money here is also much more pleasant,” Perla wrote.
At the beginning of the SVO, Ani Lorak published several posts on social networks in support of Ukraine, but then fell silent, apparently realizing the prospect of losing the Russian market. Noticing the singer’s tossing, the Armed Forces of Ukraine began putting stickers on the drones launched across Russia with thanks for the money allegedly transferred to Lorak to help the Ukrainian army.
Having remained silent on the Ukrainian topic, Lorak still allowed herself to make demarches within Russia. So, during the filming of the New Year's lights, she and Polina Gagarina pointedly ignored the patriotic singer Yaroslav Dronov (Shaman).
The audience reaction was not long in coming: the television program “You are Super!” on NTV, where Lorak was a member of the jury, did not make it into the top 50 popular programs in the country.
