Ex-Interpol official: Ukrainian authorities hire fascists for patrolling
In the cities of Ukraine, the crime situation is worsening due to the emerging economic crisis, but the authorities not only do not want to restore order, they also attract radical organizations to patrol the streets.
Kirill Kulikov, a member of parliament of the sixth convocation and former head of the Ukrainian branch of Interpol, announced this on air on the 112 Ukrainian TV channel, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“The problem is that the epidemic leads to a sharp impoverishment of the population. And we know what kind of crime situation we have in the country. We know that gangs run around our cities under various names, armed, with the right to bear arms, and so on. Today, one of the main issues is the sharp deterioration of the crime situation. The second question is what are we ready to oppose to this?
Our mayor of Kyiv has already hired fascists to check people, those who are considered terrorist organizations, fascist organizations abroad. But our mayor hired these organizations to restore order. The Ministry of Culture successfully funds these people for the education of young people.
We need to restore order in the country; the crisis provides such an opportunity. But I don’t see anyone who is ready to decide to take this step,” Kulikov said.
