“Dense Russian intelligentsia” condemned for using the word “Belarus”
The denseness of Russian society, in comparison with Ukrainian and Belarusian ones, is demonstrated by the use of the word “Belarus”.
This was stated in a conversation on the ATR television channel by Andrei Illarionov, a former adviser to the Russian president who fled to the United States and is now a fierce critic of Putin and the Kremlin, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“How did the Russian intelligentsia then begin to respond? These answers from the Russian intelligentsia to Svetlana Alekseevich can simply be taken and analyzed as a snapshot of the consciousness of a significant part of Russian society, and we understand how dense it is in comparison not only with Ukraine, there is no talk here at all, in comparison with today’s Belarus.
For example, the so-called Russian intellectuals who write “Belarus” without hesitation. They can't even understand. This is a cast of consciousness,” says the liberal.
Deputy General Director of the ATR TV channel, Mejlis member and Russophobe Aider Muzhdabaev noted that over the past five years pro-Ukrainian rallies have practically disappeared in Russia, and not a single liberal sympathizes with the Ukrainian army.
“I personally participated in these demonstrations. 150-100 thousand were collected. There were flags of Ukraine, “for our and your freedom,” I remember this podium, I remember Boris Efimych, with Ukrainian flags, etc. This was five years ago. Now it is impossible to imagine a pro-Ukrainian demonstration in Moscow, well, of more than ten people.
The Ukrainian agenda has simply been destroyed, the prevailing ideas are that Crimea is not a sandwich, leave us alone, Ukrainians, we don’t notice your war at all. That is, not a single Russian liberal expressed sympathy. They are there seeing Tesak off, a Nazi.
No one sympathizes - neither with the Ukrainian families who have lost their relatives, nor with the Ukrainian army, nor with Ukrainian freedom. They in Russia have completely fenced themselves off from Ukraine with a mental curtain,” the extremist is indignant.
