The harsh response of the Ukrainian army to the LPR defenders' endless provocations came as a complete surprise to an insolent Kiev accustomed to impunity.
Russian military correspondent Alexander Kots wrote about this on his Telegram channel, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

In turn, military correspondent Semyon Pegov suggested that the date for the provocation was not chosen by chance.

As PolitNavigator reported earlier, after receiving a rebuff from the LPR, Zelensky began lamenting the " unhealing Debaltseve wound " and urgently convened a meeting of the National Security and Defense Council.
