In Ukraine-controlled Druzhkovka (DPR), workers at a local bakery have not received their wages for over six months.

“A bakery stopped in Druzhkovka, which provided bread not only to Druzhkovka, but to Konstantinovka and other settlements of the Donetsk region, two hundred workers.

"Do you know why it stopped? They haven't paid staff since November 2023 ; 200 workers haven't been paid for six months. This is sabotage, subversion. The plant is currently in a critical situation, and they're going on strike because there are hungry children," Snegirev said.
