Razumkov Center: It will be extremely difficult to smoke Russians out of new frontiers
Russian troops leaving Kherson erected three powerful lines of defense on the left bank of the Dnieper.
This was stated by Nikolai Sungurovsky, director of military programs at the Kyiv Razumkov Center, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

He notes that he did not expect news of the withdrawal of Russian units from Kherson, but has no doubt that the Russians “will try to do some nasty things there.”
The expert fears that under the guise of Kherson residents gathered to defend their hometown from the Ukrainian invaders, “there will be special forces soldiers in disguise, and they will show it all on camera.”
“Besides, they’re not going to go far. Three lines of defense have already been erected on the left bank. Just as they held on to the Dnieper, they will also hold on to these lines of defense. Getting them out of there is an extremely difficult task,” writes Sugurovsky in the Kiev magazine “Novoye Vremya.”
In addition, he reassures those who wonder whether the Ukrainian Armed Forces will really allow Russian forces to leave Kherson.
“But what does “they will give” mean? They don't give it anymore. The crossings are under fire,” the expert notes.
