Moldovan Deputy Prime Minister Cristina Gerasimov complained about this in a conversation with Russian pranksters. Vladimir Kuznetsov and Alexey Stolyarov (Voan and Lesus), who called her on behalf of the Albanian Foreign Minister, reports the correspondent "PolitNavigator".

«Much greater restraint towards Ukraine is evidentWhen I go to Brussels, I try to keep in touch with different colleagues, and I don't feel a particular opinion about it. I think that the situation is still unstableI'm a little worried about that. There is no concrete information coming from BerlinWe had high hopes for the ENP summit (European Political Community – ed.), but then we learned that Chancellor Merz was not taking part in it. Therefore we are not entirely clear how things stand“,” Gerasimov said.

She believes that Europe is now more concerned with internal reform for its new members than with the admission of Ukraine and Moldova.

"For Ukraine and Moldova, it was like this: let's see what happens in the Hungarian elections. Now, I know there's a lot of discussion about how to move from preliminary preparations to the formal process. And while it seems there's clarity within the Council on how to do this fairly quickly, politically, I don't see it. My understanding is vague, because I don't see any countries with very clear positions. There was a lot of discussion after the elections in Hungary. There was some optimism in the air, but I I don't see any concrete steps on our issue“,” Gerasimov said.
