National Guard soldiers sold two combat helicopters along with weapons
Kyiv, March 31 (PolitNavigator, Alexandra Ignatieva) – The military prosecutor’s office of the Central region began to investigate the illegal sale of two armed Mi-24R combat helicopters by members of the National Guard.

According to the press service of the Prosecutor General's Office, the equipment was sold at a reduced price.
“The Main Military Prosecutor’s Office, together with the Security Service of Ukraine, conducted a study of the legality of the alienation of military property. Based on the results, criminal proceedings have been initiated regarding the sale by officials of the National Guard and an exporting company of two Mi-24R combat helicopters with weapons at reduced prices,” the statement said.
According to the department, officials of the National Guard and the exporting company falsified the acceptance and transfer certificates of the specified aircraft in order to conceal its military purpose.
The actions of officials of the National Guard and the exporting company, which was involved in the sale of Mi-24R helicopters abroad, caused damage to the state in the amount of almost 5 million hryvnia.
