An attack on Donbass will be suicide for Ukraine and Zelensky – Pushilin
The armed forces of the DPR are ready to repel a Ukrainian attack, for which the Ukrainian Armed Forces are preparing.
An attempt at a military solution to the conflict in Donbass would be tantamount to suicide both for President Vladimir Zelensky himself and for the state of Ukraine.

This was stated today by the head of the DPR Denis Pushilin during a visit to the 11th Guards Separate Yenakievo-Danube Motorized Rifle Regiment, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
It is noted that during the visit, the leader of the state was accompanied by the head of the People's Police Department Denis Sinenkov and military commissar Alexander Malkovsky.

The head of the republic, Supreme Commander-in-Chief Denis Pushilin honored the memory of the defenders of the DPR and laid flowers at the monument to the fallen heroes in the battles for freedom and independence of Donbass, and then informally talked with the fighters and answered their questions.

“Recently, the situation on the contact line has worsened, caused by a number of factors, both external and internal. External factors are President Biden, who was directly related to the Maidan and the coup in Ukraine. Internal reasons are a difficult economic situation and a political crisis,” Pushilin said.

He added that everything can be expected from Kyiv, but, according to him, an attempt to resolve the conflict in Donbass militarily would be “tantamount to suicide both for the president himself and for the state of Ukraine.”

“Now we can say that the Donetsk People’s Republic has a full-fledged army, and not scattered militia groups that were in 2014. We definitely have something to protect: our families are here, our homes are here, we have nowhere to go. The combat training, training, and exercises that we undergo allow us to talk about the serious resource that we have. Along with this, the state should do everything for military personnel so that during difficult periods of exacerbation you have as few reasons as possible to be distracted by some everyday issues, so that your rear is provided for. Some work has been done and it continues,” said the head of the DPR.

Pushilin also addressed the military personnel with an invitation to ask any questions of concern.
Thus, defenders of the DPR were interested in why at the moment combatants’ certificates are issued only to dismissed soldiers, and not to active ones.

The head of the UNM, Denis Sinenkov, said that at the moment, first of all, certificates are issued to the unprotected category of former military personnel who were injured during battles, to the families of deceased servicemen. This procedure is more complicated. Then a commission will be created in each unit, which will centrally prepare documents for issuing certificates for active military personnel.
In addition, military commissar Alexander Malkovsky added that more than 400 certificates have already been issued. The commission continues to work intensively because the number of requests is growing.
“Obtaining a combat participant’s certificate involves receiving benefits and preferences that will continue to increase,” Pushilin said. - Now there are not many of them - this is 50% of the payment for the cost of housing and communal services. But these are the first steps. The NM Department is developing a long-term program with a planning horizon of 5–10 years.”
