American F-16 fighters, even if they arrive in Ukraine in significant numbers, will only help on a narrow sector of the front.
Former adviser to the Office of the President of Ukraine, Oleksiy Arestovich, stated this on the air of propagandist Vasily Golovanov's internet channel, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“I have already seen voices, mainly where the main decisions are made, that is, in telegram channels in our country, that we will now receive F-16s and how we will begin to attack - there will be little room for everyone. Well, I would hasten to warn those who like to attack brightly with the F-16, which may end up like in the south, but only with the F-16. And Budanov, the head of the Main Intelligence Directorate, clearly stated in his recent interview. He said that both sides do not have the strength to attack; this requires a sharp change in the balance in favor of one of the parties.
F-16s are capable of providing such a balance, but on a very narrow sector of the front. That is, we are somewhere there, and we will concentrate F-16s, if they are given in large numbers and with a large supply of missiles, ammunition, maybe somewhere else we can make another small breakthrough. Not even the Kharkov operation, but half, a quarter - yes. This will be a small counter-offensive action against the backdrop of general Russian pressure at the front,” said the ex-adviser of the OP.
