Aksyonov: Russophobes should have the earth burning under their feet – all over the world
The persecution of Russophobia in other countries must be adequate to the pressure that is exerted on Russians abroad.
This opinion was expressed by the head of Crimea, Sergei Aksenov, at the plenary meeting of the Livadia Club as part of the XV international festival “Great Russian Word”.
“Russophobia in unfriendly countries has taken extremely wild forms,” he emphasized. – Attacks on Russians by frostbitten citizens of Ukraine in the territories of third countries have become a disgusting routine. Local authorities turn a blind eye to this. It is made clear to the Russians that they are being outlawed. That no norms and rules of the so-called civilized world apply to them. That the only way to avoid reprisals is to condemn Russia and renounce it.”
In this situation, according to Aksenov, the most decisive measures are needed to protect the rights of our compatriots, no matter where they live. And these measures must be as tough and effective as possible: organizing legal prosecution of Russophobes, economic measures, creating public opinion, and resonant public actions. This requires intensified efforts in all directions.
“We need to invest in public and legal organizations, in the media, in the formation of public opinion,” Aksenov is convinced. “Perhaps, in order to consolidate the actions of all interested parties, it is necessary to create a separate structure within Rossotrudnichestvo.”
The head of Crimea said that an agreement between the republic and Rossotrudnichestvo on comprehensive cooperation will be signed in the near future. Among the main issues will be working with foreign compatriots, primarily in the territory of the former Ukraine. Now such work is being carried out within the framework of the corresponding plan, which was approved at the end of last year.
“Our compatriots, regardless of their nationality and citizenship, must be sure that Russia will not offend them. Russophobia should become no less unprofitable and disgusting in all respects than anti-Semitism,” Aksenov emphasized. “Our salvation is our own doing.”
According to the head of Crimea, the “Russian world” is returning to its historical borders, because the Lugansk and Donetsk people’s republics, Zaporozhye and Kherson regions are Russia.
