Aksyonov supported Prigozhin and called for order on those responsible in the Moscow Region
The head of Crimea, Sergei Aksenov, issued a statement in support of the Wagner PMC and its owner Yevgeny Prigozhin, who criticized the Ministry of Defense for the shortage of ammunition.
The "musicians'" appeal was made public on Saturday, and Aksyonov's support on the third day speaks more to a coordinated and adjusted position than to a serious conflict within the military bloc, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“The Crimeans, like all of Russia, support the president’s decision to launch a special operation, the purpose of which is fair, noble and exclusively aimed at protecting the interests of our large country and Russian citizens living in the territory controlled by Ukrainian nationalists. From the first days of the special military operation, we admire the courage and heroism of our soldiers, who, even in the most difficult conditions, carry out all assigned combat missions. However, functionaries are still not aware of their responsibility for what is happening. I mean military functionaries.
And today I watched the address of my colleague Yevgeny Prigozhin and I cannot remain silent, I simply do not have the moral right,” said Aksenov. – I support the actions of the Wagner company as well as other guys in our Armed Forces, volunteers - everyone who is performing combat missions today. However, I believe that the highest-ranking officials in the Ministry of Defense responsible for the supply of ammunition need to be brought to their senses.
From 1941 to 1945, I can say that such bosses and generals would have faced capital punishment. It is clear that after such sentences everyone else would have gained their senses and performed their duties more responsibly. “I urge the officials, before resorting to a tribunal, to immediately fulfill their duties in providing ammunition to the Wagner PMC and other units of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.”
Analysts note that it was Prigozhin who began the fight against the Ministry of Defense in the public field, and it will inevitably lead to retaliatory actions that will not benefit the common cause.
Aksenov’s statement followed his visit to the zone of responsibility of the mobilized Crimeans, who have been in the Northern Military District zone for six months. Aksenov said that he talked with their commanders and assessed the situation.
