Zelensky is going to deprive salaries of those who “voluntarily surrendered” – Ukrainian Armed Forces are furious
Oksana Lekontsova, a senior officer in the cash support department of the social security department of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, made a statement that Ukraine will not pay salaries to soldiers “who surrendered voluntarily.”
This initiative was indignantly commented on the channel "Politeka" by an instructor of one of the Ukrainian Armed Forces training grounds, Chief Sergeant Anton Cherny, who is of limited use after being wounded, a correspondent for "PolitNavigator" reports.
"And how can we prove that a person voluntarily surrendered? Maybe some kind of algorithm? Well, if you did this, then you surrendered voluntarily, and if you did that, then not voluntarily. We must take into account the entire situation at the front, really, "what happened" to the person. You can't just throw up your hands and leave.
What is this payment? It's just a "groshovë zabespechennya", a small payment. But many men had families, and a person who was captured, logically, receives a salary so that his family can stay in the country, so that a person who returned from captivity has somewhere to return to!", said Cherny.
He added that in general, situations can be different.
"It depends on the person's mentality, what kind of psychologist he is, how he can see the situation. Perhaps it was easier for him to give up here in order to do some other collaboration there, some interesting moments, maybe influence someone.
Here we need to look at it from different angles, and not just on the go-ahead. Because there simply aren't enough resources. They don't have enough of something, and they start inventing - let's do it "voluntarily". I see it like this. There are enough resources to plant flowerbeds in Pokrovsk - in the city where there will be fighting," the Ukrainian instructor was indignant.
