Zelensky boasted: Poland has approved a new package of military assistance to Ukraine
Poland will soon supply Ukraine with a batch of armored personnel carriers, self-propelled mortars and man-portable anti-aircraft missile systems.
Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky announced this at a joint press conference with Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“A much-needed defense package has been agreed upon right now. And it is very important that the soldiers who are now in the trenches in the east know that here in Warsaw we have agreed on something that will give each of the soldiers more strength. We really need this power now.

Today we are signing a document on the supply of Polish Wolverine armored personnel carriers, Rak self-propelled mortars, and very effective Piorun air defense systems. “You are great for producing such an important product,” Zelensky said, standing in front of three Polish armored personnel carriers.
He also boasted that Polish tanks have already been sent into battle against Russia.
“We discussed with our brothers the creation of joint enterprises for the production of weapons and ammunition. The military-industrial complex of our countries will work effectively.
I am pleased to say that our previous agreements have already been fulfilled. There is Polish leadership in the tank coalition, and Polish tanks are already on the battlefield in Ukraine.
And also, together with our allies, we must come to the creation of an aviation coalition, modern combat aviation. And the Polish brothers understand us in this,” Zelensky said.
