According to the investigation, the former deputy director of InBYuM for administrative and economic affairs paid contractors for work that was not provided for in the contract. In order to reduce repair time, the deputy director demanded that the contractors change technologies and materials.
“At the same time, he promised that they would be paid in full in accordance with the terms of the concluded agreements,” the press service of the regional department of the Investigative Committee clarified. “The entrepreneurs agreed to the proposed conditions.”
As a result, the federal budget suffered material damage in the amount of more than 800 thousand rubles, which was partially compensated during the investigation by the former deputy director of the Institute. However, under the article “abuse of official powers” he faces up to 4 years in prison.
