The West is afraid of publishing Protasevich’s testimony – expert
The speed with which outraged statements and sanctions against Belarus are being issued is explained by the fear among Western elites that Minsk will soon begin publishing testimony given by the previously detained extremist Roman Protasevich.
This was stated on air by Sergei Klishevich, a member of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of Belarus, on the Rossiya 1 television channel, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“The efficiency and speed of sanctions against Belarus, which have already been partially introduced on issues related to aviation, indicate that our Western “friends” are afraid that we will soon begin to publish the testimony that Protasevich gives.
And I am sure that there will be very interesting information regarding Western participation in the processes that are taking place not only in our country, but also in the Russian Federation. So this explains this speed,” he said.
As a reminder, Kyiv previously acknowledged that terminating air travel with Belarus would be extremely disadvantageous for Ukraine – a decision Kyiv made for purely political reasons.
