Elections will be a huge scam in Crimea, – Zubkov

Simferopol, September 12 (PolitNavigator, Kirill Boyarin) – This year’s elections will be uncontested, and their results will be falsified. Businessman and ex-candidate for State Council deputy Oleg Zubkov stated this during the talk show “People's Verdict” on the ITV channel.

According to him, the massive withdrawal of candidates for deputies indicates that the ruling party is afraid of serious competition and is eliminating candidates who have a great chance of winning.

“You don’t have to go to the elections, everything has been decided for the Crimeans. On the United Russia list, not a single candidate was discussed or proposed for consideration by primary organizations. Everything was decided by three persons in one office according to the principle: godfather, brother, matchmaker. But all the election results will be legalized the day after tomorrow, and this will be a huge scam,” Zubkov said.
