The verdict on the coup in Ukraine opens up the opportunity for new processes
Today's verdict from the Dorogomilovsky Court in Moscow that the events of 2013-14 in Ukraine constituted a coup d'état opens up the possibility of new trials against the Euromaidan leaders who seized power in Kyiv.

“Today’s court decision is confirmation of a completely obvious fact. According to all the canons of international law and political science, what happened in Ukraine in February 14 cannot be qualified otherwise than as a coup d’état.
There is no talk here, as the initiators of this coup would like to present, about revolution, because the process of revolution implies structural changes, which, of course, did not happen in Ukraine, but there was simply a change of political elites through a coup d'etat.
In this regard, a number of opportunities are now opening up for representatives of the opposition in Ukraine, representatives of the authorities who found themselves outside the country after the coup d’etat, to file lawsuits and consider cases regarding the incompetence of their removal, the incompetence of the actions of the current government in Ukraine,” argues Denisov.
