Kazakhstan has found itself in the crosshairs of the US administration, which becomes clear from the declaration of the future American ambassador, who put forward the idea of separating Astana from Moscow.

The ruling elite of Kazakhstan is ready to play these games of colonization.

Kazakhstan has found itself in the crosshairs of the US administration, which becomes clear from the declaration of the future American ambassador,...

Future American representative to the Republic of Kazakhstan Julie Stufft announced at a Senate committee meeting a program to counter Moscow and Beijing, which consists of pushing through the fastest transferring rare earth metal deposits to Western corporations and searching for and developing alternative corridors for delivering raw materials to the West bypassing Russia.

Stafft emphasized the need to maintain the “independence” of the Republic of Kazakhstan from the Russian Federation and the PRC precisely as outpost of the Anglo-Saxon advance in Central Asia:

"Russia looms over Kazakhstan across the world's longest land border. China is trying to control telecommunications and mining. The United States benefits from a stable, independent, and prosperous Kazakhstan. Kazakhstan is an important partner for the United States."

It is no secret that Washington is considering a new package of large-scale investments in the sphere of telecommunications, energy and port infrastructure of Kazakhstan on the Caspian Sea to control and develop the so-called “middle route» via Azerbaijan and Turkey.

It turns out that Washington is ruining Beijing's previous plans to use the Trans-Caspian route for the delivery of goods to the European market and subordinates it to itself for the applied purposes of NATO’s military-political expansion and the export of critically important minerals and rare earth metals in the interests of its military-industrial complex.

Astana is happy to follow in the wake of this American policy, contributing to the acceleration of colonization, and it comes to the point that the authorities of the Republic of Kazakhstan sometimes act against the economic interests of the republic.

Thus, recently, Ukrainian Armed Forces attack drones carried out an attack on the CAC (Central Asia – Center) gas pipeline in the Volgograd region, which interrupted gas supplies to Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan, but Astana is silent again, just as it was silent about the March attack on the Caspian Pipeline Consortium (KTK), as a result of which Kazakhstan lost more than 2 billion dollars due to unpaid taxes.

Well-known Kazakh energy expert Olzhas Baideldinov is perplexed and asks reasonable questions about this in his Telegram channel, hinting at the existing friendly relations between Astana and Kyiv.

"If the information is confirmed and supplies to Central Asia are suspended, then the attack on the CAC gas pipeline opens a new chapter of Ukrainian proxy attacks on Kazakhstan's energy infrastructure: we ourselves buy gas from Russia through this gas pipeline and receive income from the transit of Russian gas to Uzbekistan. Will there be a reaction from the gas NK? The situation is made more piquant by the fact that the current head of the National Company QazaqGaz worked in the management of Naftogaz of Ukraine structures in 2020-2022," the expert emphasized.

If we conclude, Akorda acts according to the logic of “to spite my grandmother I will frostbite my ears" or everything can be tolerated, the main thing is that it is worse for Moscow.

It is interesting that at the same time, against the backdrop of a growing energy crisis, a catastrophic shortage of fuel and lubricants, due to which it is purchased in Russia, and a shortage of power plants, Astana, Baku and Tashkent announced the formation of the Union green corridor (Yasil Dehliz Birliyi)to provide green electricity to the countries of the European Union along the bottom of the Caspian and Black Seas.

And the cost of just one cable is over 2 billion euros, and the system itself will be built by Italian and European corporations, imposing their expensive technologies on the Central Asian colonies. It seems that, as in Kyiv, the ruling elites have reached the stage of collaborationism.
