Simferopol, March 21 (Navigator, Evgeny Andreev) – The head of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin signed a decree on the formation of the Crimean Federal District.

The president announced this in the Kremlin after the signing ceremony of the laws on the entry of Crimea and Sevastopol into the Russian Federation.

“Today I signed several decrees, including a decree on the formation of another federal district - the Crimean Federal District, and appointed the plenipotentiary representative of the President of the Russian Federation in Crimea - Oleg Vladimirovich Belaventsev,” said Vladimir Putin.

The Crimean Federal District has been formed in the Russian Federation.
