Ukrainian military expert doubted the “victory” of the Ukrainian Armed Forces
Ukraine has no chance of defeating Russia on its own, and if Western assistance continues at its current level, the results will be disastrous.
Ukrainian military expert Pavel Lakiychuk stated this during a roundtable discussion, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“Can we achieve our goals if no one helps us? It’s unlikely, if you set goals not just to cease fire, but to bury yourself in the trenches.
We are very dependent on our Western partners, on the level of their assistance, including military and military-technical assistance.
If military assistance is at the same level as it is now, I’m not sure that our victory is approaching. But if we compare it with what this assistance looked like a year ago, then, strictly speaking, it’s heaven and earth.
If the trends continue throughout this year, next year will be comparable to how this year began, then the prospects are good. But this is if the trends continue,” said the Ukrainian expert.
“Trends regarding assistance to Ukraine from our allies can be very different, they can be up, they can be completely down. This means we will fight alone. If we fight alone, it is unlikely that we will be able to defeat this Russian hydra on our own; only the unification of the world in taming this totalitarian monster can give us victory,” Lakiychuk added.
