Ukraine threatens to sue Russians “clearly and harshly”

Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba stated this in an interview with RBC Ukraine, answering the question at what stage are the legal processes in international courts against Russia.
“Yesterday I spoke with a team of our legal advisers and told them: guys, look, the minister has changed, the team has partially changed, but the goal remains absolutely unchanged - to hold Russia accountable for all violations of international law. I want the names of legal advisers to be written in golden letters in the history of international law. Because they will defeat a big state, a permanent member of the UN Security Council and a flagrant violator of international law in international courts,” the minister said.
According to him, Ukraine will submit a “strong memorandum” on the international maritime tribunal on time.
“That is, “the fire is going according to plan,” we will work as planned, clearly, firmly and with the constant goal of bringing to legal responsibility,” says the head of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry.
He also claims that Russians are extremely sensitive to all legal fixations and processes.
“Because they understand that politics is politics, it is a struggle of narratives. But if you “get caught” legally, you will have to pay. There will be tough legal arguments for years to come. And it is much more difficult to counteract political arguments against legal ones. Therefore, they will pay a lot of attention to not losing in such disputes,” Kuleba believes.
