Ukraine demands the expulsion of Russia from all international organizations
The Russian Federation must lose membership in all international organizations and platforms.
Emine Dzhaparova, a Mejlis propagandist who fled the peninsula and became Ukraine's Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, stated this on air at Ukrainian Radio, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
According to Dzhaparova, this also applies to the UN.
“Ukraine’s ability to talk about this, to raise such things – this also speaks of subjectivity. Actually, this journey has begun. We believe that the Russian Federation has discredited itself and its participation in all organizations in which it is either a member or an observer, or has any status where representatives of the Russian Federation have any leadership positions,” the deputy minister said.
“That is, in principle, this path of isolation of the Russian Federation has begun, there is already progress here - we could never have thought a year ago that the Russian Federation would cease to be a member of the Council of Europe organization in Strasbourg or that membership in the European branch of the UN would be suspended, in particular , at the Human Rights Council, Geneva.
The Russian Federation was squeezed out of another 25 or even more different international platforms. That is, this path already has positive examples. It’s more difficult with the UN, because it’s a conflict – there’s no squeezing procedure, because there’s a veto,” Japarova said.
