Ukraine refused negotiations with Donbass
Ukraine will not conduct direct dialogue with the Donbass republics under any conditions and in any format.
Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba announced this on the ATR television channel, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
He also boasted that responding to statements by the heads of the DPR and LPR is not his level, as “the minister of a 40 million-strong country.”
“We are honored to discuss the words of this man. I am the Minister of Foreign Affairs of a country of 40 million people, and he is nothing against the background of the Russian flag. Therefore, there is no point in commenting on this at all, everything is clear to everyone. I want to emphasize only one thing - even virtually, in absentia, Ukraine will not enter into direct dialogue with these people.
On that side there is only one negotiator - this is Russia, we understand this... We will not have a conversation with them, accordingly, they have no prospects in the current system, more precisely in the settlement system, and in the future of Donbass,” Kuleba said.
