Medvedev approved the creation of SEZs in Crimea and Sevastopol
Simferopol, October 30 (PolitNavigator, Evgeny Andreev) – The Government of the Russian Federation approved the creation of a free economic zone in the Crimean Federal District.

Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev announced this at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers on Thursday.
“We need to consider three bills, which are the basis for the formation of a free economic zone in the KFO,” he noted.
The peninsula, the head of government recalled, has enormous economic potential:
“At the same time, it has been underfunded for several decades. To realize this potential, not only public investment is required, but also private investment, which for obvious reasons is now quite difficult, and investors, naturally, need special conditions, attractive conditions - this includes effective administration and a favorable tax regime. The bills that have been prepared should create such conditions,” Dmitry Medvedev emphasized.
