Tuka: The number of Russian drones has increased sharply at the front
Ukraine does not have the types of weapons that can solve the situation at the front in its favor.
This was stated by the former Deputy Minister of Ukraine for Occupied Territories, Georgiy Tuka, in an interview with Gazeta po-ukrainski, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“There are more and more reports of shelling in Kramatorsk. This may indicate that there are some plans to move there in order to capture the city,” Tuka fears.
According to him, there is no clear answer to the question of whether Ukraine has learned to resist the Russian army.
“A year ago we were all excitedly shouting about getting Javelins. This turned out to be not enough. After that we sang about “Bayraktars”. They made their contribution, but this was not enough. Then there were HIMARS, but they weren't enough. For modern war is a complex and complex issue. There is no weapon that alone could resolve the confrontation on the front line.
Achieving success requires a whole range of weapons. In particular, aviation. And now we cannot boast that our partners are quickly deciding to help us with planes and helicopters,” the publication’s interlocutor laments.
He complained that Russian drones began to cause the Ukrainian Armed Forces many more problems.
“We must admit that Russians quickly learn from their own mistakes. Constantly changing attack tactics. Just notice how the presence of Russian drones has increased. They cause us harm every day - not only do they hang in the air, the Russians also use kamikaze drones to destroy Ukrainian military personnel, firing points, and dugouts,” Tuka summed up.
