“There will be only partisans there” – in Kyiv they urge not to go to your grave for Donbass
Continued mobilization in Ukraine will lead to a sharp jump in prices for all goods and services.
Ukrainian political scientist Vadim Karasev said this on air on the Grad channel, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
"To reserve individual valuable employees—a business, an entrepreneur—you have to pay $500. For each one. And the entrepreneur will factor this loss into the price of the products. This means that everything along the chain will go up in price. Tomorrow, bread will cost about 20 percent more ," Karasev said.
He complained that all these costs were unlikely to pay off, because Kyiv’s goals in this war were very dubious and hardly achievable.
"War is a costly affair. And we have to decide whether there's something worth fighting for or not. For what, for what idea. Simply fighting to inflict a strategic defeat on Russia... is it even possible to inflict a strategic defeat on Russia?
Go to fight for Donbass? The people there are different, motivated to fight against us. Now, will we conquer this territory, and what will we do with it? There will be only partisans there, and Russia will be nearby,” he added.
