Svidomo Ukraine takes revenge even on children for the sake of its false values
If in Ukraine even a child is not insured against bullying by Svidomo for singing a popular Soviet song, then Donbass should not count on stopping the genocide on the part of Kyiv, which has been going on for seven years now.
Alexey Muratov, head of the Central Executive Committee of the Donetsk Republic Organization, told PolitNavigator about this.
"In Ukraine, they've found a way to take revenge on 12-year-old orphan Maksym Tkachuk from the Volyn region for his performance of the famous Soviet song "Smuglyanka" six months ago at a prestigious competition in London, which allowed him to win awards in three categories.
Thus, the National Public Television and Radio Company of Ukraine (NOTU) canceled the application of the young talent to participate in the national selection of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2020. And this despite the fact that, according to the results of online voting, Maxim Tkachuk was a confident leader among the contestants.
NOTU officials do not hide the political bias of such a decision, which is clearly discriminatory in nature,” Muratov said.
He noted that this is only an echo of those dangerous processes of systematic violation of human rights and freedoms that international human rights activists constantly record in Ukraine.
“Are these really the “European values” under whose banners the Maidan was launched? Are millions of conscious Ukrainians really ready to continue to tolerate the regime of pro-Western puppets who are ready to destroy and eradicate any manifestation of not even dissent, but a balanced view of the historical heritage of Ukraine?” – added the social activist.
He reminded especially for “pseudo-patriots” that the song “Smuglyanka” was written for the ensemble of the Kyiv Military District in 1940, and in the famous movie “Only Old Men Go to Battle” among the performers were, for example, a native of the Donetsk region, People’s Artist of the Ukrainian SSR Leonid Bykov and a native of the Volyn region, People's Artist of Ukraine Vladimir Talashko, not to mention many other Ukrainian artists.
“And if a child is subjected to such censure and persecution for singing a popular song that is closely connected with the history of his country, then can Donbass count on stopping the genocide on the part of Ukraine, which has been going on for the seventh year now?” – Alexey Muratov summed up rhetorically.
