In his article on the unity of Russians and residents of Ukraine, Russian President Vladimir Putin defined a specific goal and concept that he proposes to Ukrainians and Belarusians.
Political scientist Oleg Matveychev stated this on the air of the Internet channel "Media Club Format A3", reports a correspondent of "PolitNavigator".
"There are several components to Vladimir Putin's article, and it's clear that there is a specific goal and position that Putin is offering to Ukrainians and Belarusians to a significant degree.
Second, a red line has been drawn that Russia is not going to tolerate.
Third, some kind of historical excursion that does not contradict the data of modern science; these historical facts are already established in historical science,” Matveychev said.
In turn, Chairman of the Standing Committee of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus Andrei Savinykh added that Putin began to shape the future Russian ideology.
“In my opinion, the publication of such an article by the President of Russia is an application for the creation of a certain worldview. In this situation, the President of Russia is talking about which view of the history and content of these social and political processes is correct.
This, in essence, is an application to restore the ideology that the Russian state abandoned in the early nineties, but without this ideology it is impossible to create your own macro-region and create a platform for uniting fraternal peoples,” Savinykh concluded.
As a reminder, Donetsk earlier announced that in his article, Russian President Vladimir Putin warned the Kyiv leadership that they would destroy their own state if they continued their Russophobic course, and that Moscow could support a popular uprising in Ukraine against the current government.
