Donetsk, May 21 (Navigator, Victoria Litovchenko) – In Dobropillya, Dobropolsky, Aleksandrovsky, Velikonovoselkovsky districts of the Donetsk region, the “Donbass” special battalion completely took control of the administrative buildings and the surrounding territory.

Officials said that the Donbass special battalion will guard polling stations in Velikonovoselkovsky, Dobropolsky, Aleksandrovsky and Krasnoarmeysky districts of the region during the presidential elections.
According to the Regional State Administration, there is an accumulation of military equipment in the Velikonovoselkovsky, Volnovakha, Maryinsky and Starobeshevsky districts. National Guard troops set up checkpoints.
In addition, in the areas of the Donetsk region controlled by the Donbass volunteer battalion, Russian radio was turned off and Ukrainian radio was turned on. Battalion commander Semyon Semenchenko wrote about this on his Facebook page.
“Russian radio has stopped operating in the area controlled by the Donbass battalion. Only Ukrainian radio is on. I think it’s final,” Semenchenko said.
As Navigator reported, earlier the battalion announced the capture of the police department in the Velikonovoselovsky district.
