This was stated on air by the Crimean head’s advisor on information policy, Oleg Kryuchkov , on the air of “Crimea 24” , reports a correspondent for “PolitNavigator”.
"All drone flights go over Crimea and near Crimea. Those flying to Gelendzhik and Tuapse, and those flying across the Sea of Azov to Taganrog and Rostov. When a flight takes place, we, ideally, according to the old Civil Defense regulations, should sound the siren. And the siren will be on 22-23 hours a day. You won't be able to sleep or do anything . Children will be in constant hysterics because they can't get enough sleep because of the blaring siren.
The head of Crimea has decided to limit notifications to SMS and communications through the media. This isn't because anyone doesn't want it, but because we have a situation where flights and overflights are handled through us," Kryuchkov explained.
According to him, upon receiving a text message about a drone threat, citizens should stay away from windows, as the blast wave could shatter glass. An air raid siren will be activated in the event of an attack on a specific location.
"In a region where there's a dangerous facility or production facility, if we clearly understand that a strike is coming in a certain direction, the siren will sound. However, we must understand that drones fly for quite a long time, while a missile from Odessa or Mykolaiv takes less than three minutes to reach the target ," Kryuchkov emphasized.
