The SVO will not limit itself to Donbass alone – Karaganov
The Russian army's entry into the Donbass border will not end the military conflict.
This was stated at a press conference in Moscow by political scientist Sergei Karaganov , who is close to the Kremlin, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

"Let's say we liberate Donbas, and Ukraine agrees to negotiate with us. The question is how long will they last, and will the West make any concessions? Right now, they categorically reject compromise. Have we missed the opportunity to really hit the West?" someone asked from the audience.
"The halt in Donbas is just a halt. We wrote at the very beginning of this operation that victory can only be total. But not for unfortunate Ukraine, which has been thrown into the furnace of war and is simply being drowned.
"However, I don't absolve the Ukrainians, and especially not their leaders, of responsibility. They are stoking the fire that is burning us," Karaganov said.
"But the war won't end there, not even with some resolution to the so-called Donbas issue. This war can only end with a crushing victory , hopefully without the massive use of nuclear weapons against targets in Europe," he added.
