The Federation Council honored the memory of Russian heroes who died in Ukraine
Senators of the Russian Federation today honored the memory of Russian soldiers who died in Ukraine to the song “Let’s Rise” by a little-known performer Yaroslav Dronov, performing under the pseudonym Shaman.
Some members of the Federation Council could not hold back their tears, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“These, friends, are heartfelt words that go straight to the soul and heart, exactly corresponding to today’s moment and reflecting our attitude towards it. The most important thing is that they do not sound from the lips of the show party. They are composed and sung by our young guys.
It gives you chills when you listen to it and there are more and more of these unproduced videos on social media these days in support of our guys participating in a special military operation. I believe that this is a convincing indicator of the real attitude of our society to what is happening, its confidence that the truth is on our side. And power, as we know, lies in truth. And strength lies in the young, and we have wonderful ones,” said Federation Council Speaker Valentina Matvienko.
