Clinton's ally demanded that supporters of the region's secession from Ukraine be deported from Donbass

This was stated in an interview with Kommersant by former US Ambassador to Russia Michael McFaul, who is considered close to Hillary Clinton’s team, noting that a reset of Russian-American relations is possible.
“But only if Vladimir Putin changes his policy,” the American politician clarified. – Every time, both Americans and Russians ask me, what will Clinton do to give a signal that she is ready to cooperate and improve relations with Russia? I would pose the question differently: what will President Putin do to indicate his desire to improve relations? Why must the initiative necessarily come from Washington? And if Putin wants better relations with the United States, then he himself could create a more friendly background and an atmosphere of cooperation. Why is it always the Americans who have to change their policies? Why doesn’t Moscow change something?”
The publication asked what changes in Russian policy the ex-ambassador had in mind.
“For example, go on television and say: we are removing separatists from eastern Ukraine and restoring its borders,” McFaul suggested. “This would have an incredibly positive impact on Russian-American relations.” I certainly don't assume this will be done. But still, when we started the reset policy, we emphasized that we wanted to improve relations on a mutual basis. Moscow is an active party in these relations, and not some passive entity.”
Ukrainian media previously suggested using the practices of South African racists to create reservations for the local population in Donbas. Meanwhile, Ukrainian journalist Roman Butkevych stated that there are 1.5 million extra people in Donbas who need to be killed.
