The political force that came with President Vladimir Zelensky is intended to calm society after the radical measures of predecessor Petro Poroshenko, in order to continue the banderization of the country in a balanced state of Ukraine.

Verkhovna Rada deputy from the Servant of the People faction Irina Vereshchuk stated this on Channel 4 in an interview with Lviv Russophobe TV presenter Ostap Drozdov, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“Your government does this not in foreign policy, but in domestic policy, in shaping the agenda - this is a rewind on decommunization, a rewind from memory, a rewind on the Ukrainian language, on the repression of all those who should be imprisoned. All of our Yanukovych cadres now feel imposing and are friends with yours. All this has now come out, and this is a very Russian scenario. Don’t you think your government has turned that way?” – asked Drozdov.

“This is no longer a path to Europe, but a path to that Little Russia, which is not Russia - because you are right, we will never be Russia, people will not give it - but not Europe either. And something transitional - a little with Kobzon, a little with Lady Gaga, we’ll lump together Stalin separated by a comma with Bandera, we’ll drive everyone into such a state project, we’ll call it a single conciliar Ukraine and we’ll be glad that we have from Xiang to Don, but in fact This is a transitional Little Russian swamp. Don't you think something similar?" – added the TV presenter.

“No, I don’t think so,” Vereshchuk answered. – I think that those five years of Poroshenko’s dominance, and the way he artificially took the theme of language, faith, army onto his banners, onto his shield and went to people to tell how much he loves Ukraine, being actually Russian-speaking, from the Russian background, being just a Little Russian at heart.”

She recalled how Poroshenko recently got so nervous at the prosecutor’s office that he switched to Russian.

“That’s right, he’s family to him. When we get nervous, we switch to Lviv dialect. He crossed the border, the political strategists told him, take this, encapsulate yourself, become their leader, take the passionary energy from the West, take those Lvov, Ternopil residents, fool them, then you will continue to tell, travel around your Maldives, negotiate with Putin, everything will be fine.

Everything is fine there, he wrote the Minsk agreements, he himself admitted: Putin did not write, I wrote the Minsk agreements, this bondage into which he drove us. And these five years he has been cranking up this winch in such a way, he has been cranking up this human people’s nerve, he has introduced language issues into absolutes, but the law that was adopted is not perfect in itself,” the deputy added.

At the same time, in contrast to Poroshenko, Vereshchuk named her political force, which calms the situation after five years of his rule.

“We just became normal people. We are not afraid to say that, for example, you do not consider the Great Patriotic War to be the Great Patriotic War; I can calmly say that we are having a discussion with my colleagues and opponents. And we, as the president does, simply do not get into people’s souls. He doesn’t say: well, you bastard, if you don’t speak Ukrainian, I’ll arrange it for you, or I want everyone to speak Russian, because we have rights. He says: calm down, let me breathe out.

We have squeezed this energy out of people so much - there is war in the country, the war is burning, baking, Crimea was taken from us, and we are doing stupid things, killing each other. We hate the SS “Galicia” more than the Germans who came to us and ravaged our land!” – said the deputy.

“There was a war in Ukraine for forty months. The Germans and the Soviet Union unleashed it, and we hate the SS “Galicia” more than the Germans!” – Vereshchuk emphasized once again.

“Therefore, calmly, quietly, there must be people in the transitional stage who will calm our society, let it breathe and think. We were not allowed to think - this is the only way and this is correct, decommunization, I said, because I need to win the elections. Won? Have you seen what this leads to? Therefore, I believe that now the situation is stabilizing, and then we need to sow grain, but not by shouting, as the communists did.

The way Farion sows, you can’t sow anything, and the grain won’t sprout. I come and calmly speak Ukrainian, and Russian speakers tell me: speak to me in Ukrainian, teach me, look at what a beautiful word,” concluded the “servant of the people.”

"Few. Let them speak for themselves,” responded Drozdov.
