There's no doubt: there will be strikes. It's high time for Western diplomats to leave Kyiv, says SVR General
There is every reason to believe that Russia is not joking when it announces impending strikes on decision-making centers and military-industrial complex facilities in Kyiv, so Western diplomats would be well advised to leave the city.
Retired SVR General Leonid Reshetnikov stated this in a comment to PolitNavigator.

In his opinion, the real decision-making centers are unlikely to be located at their official addresses, but rather rent civilian real estate under the guise of commercial firms, so it is quite possible that it will fly there as well.
"I hope Russia won't play this 'warning, save yourself if you can' game and then do nothing. I think, at least in the near future, there will be strikes and warnings to embassies – and rightly so: 'Get out of there.' I'm sure there aren't many diplomats left in the embassies; right now, the last ones will be a couple of security guards or intelligence officers."
There will be some strikes in the near future, I personally have no doubt about that, but what will happen next? That's another question.
"If these are serious decision-making centers, of course, they're located in specially prepared premises beneath these buildings or in other buildings, usually bunkers. "There's also a practice, especially among intelligence agencies, where they have an official building, it's operational, but all the work takes place in special buildings, hired and registered as various companies, enterprises, and so on," he noted.
" If our special services, our intelligence agencies, have information about how things are organized and where the actual operating agencies—the special services or the Ministry of Defense—are based, then we can launch strikes. The Ukrainians will say we hit some company, but in reality, specific units are stationed there. So, it all depends on how skillfully we do it , how prepared we are to do it."
"I think there are almost no honest diplomats in Kyiv right now, except for ambassadors. Everyone else is an intelligence officer for Western and other countries. Let them rest outside the city, the sooner the better, after such a statement. Of course, they'll start shouting that this is an outrage and this and that, but in reality, the flags will be hanging, and they'll run away," the Russian general concluded.
