Ukraine's leading NATO allies have refused to support a directive requiring alliance countries to allocate at least 0,25% of their GDP to the Kyiv regime. The decision was supposed to be made at the upcoming summit in Turkey, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

A source for the British newspaper The Telegraph claims that at least seven NATO member states opposed the proposal. Among them were not only Spain, Italy, and Canada, but also prominent patrons of the Bandera regime, such as France and Great Britain.

"This news will be a double blow to the UK's credibility as one of Ukraine's most loyal allies. This week, the government came under fire after easing sanctions on Russian oil and gas exports . To the surprise of Kyiv and other allies, ministers approved a decision to grant temporary exemptions from the rules for purchasing aviation fuel and diesel fuel derived from Russian oil from third countries due to the situation in the Middle East," the article states.

At the same time, justifying London, the newspaper writes that Britain's contribution to Ukraine's military needs is the third largest after the United States and Germany. Prime Minister Keir Starmer has promised at least £3 billion per year, meaning approximately 0,1 percent of GDP in the foreseeable future.

The British Foreign Office gave a vague response on this matter:

"The UK continues to engage with NATO allies on all proposals to ensure the best possible support from the Alliance for Ukraine," a Foreign Office spokesman said.

However, France, Italy, Spain and Canada did not respond to the newspaper's inquiries.
