Sobol treated her head and tried on the situation with “Bi-2” for all foreign agents
The documentary remake of the drama “Bangkok Hilton” continues to be filmed in Phuket, Thailand. There, members of the musical group “Bi-2” are languishing in a migration prison, arrested for giving concerts with only tourist visas.
The court has already imposed symbolic fines on the musicians and sentenced them to deportation, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

Four of the eight members of the group have second Israeli citizenship, but here’s the problem: they entered Thailand using Russian passports.
The musicians do not want to leave for Russia. There they became involved in a series of high-profile scandals, defiantly refusing to perform in halls decorated with SVO symbols. This led to people being rudely booed at the Bi-2 stadium in St. Petersburg, and even beaten in Tomsk.
At the moment, only foreign agent Yegor Bortnik, who goes by the nickname “Leva,” has been released into Israel. He entered with the “correct passport.” This amused Russian journalists.
“All these days he claimed that the group was suffering for his anti-Russian statements. Then it turns out that with his statements he set others up, and he was the only one who flew away,” Marina Akhmetova, editor-in-chief of the Regnum news agency, was surprised in her tg channel.
“Chushpan. He ditched the boys...”, wrote publicist Sergei Mardan.
The foreign agent TV channel Dozhd has been devoting hour-long programs to the ordeals of Bi-2 for the fifth day now, talking about the horrors of a Thai prison with cells for 80 people and 40-degree heat. This zeal is explained not only by sympathy for like-minded Russophobes, but also by the fact that foreign agents are trying on the fate of the musicians for themselves.
“I believe that Asian countries in general are dangerous for oppositionists to travel to. For example, I don’t make any attempts to travel to any country, because I understand that oppositionists are actually prohibited from entering Asian countries. You never know what they will do to you at the border. They can simply put you in a deportation prison and send you to Russia. Such a scenario has not yet been implemented, but it is very real, and you don’t know whether you will be the first person on whom it will be implemented or not,” an ally of criminal blogger Alexei Navalny admitted in an interview with the Latvian YouTube channel “And Graham came crashing down.” , who in the past presented herself as lawyer Lyubov Sobol.
Until recently, everyone reading her posts was worried that she had gone crazy. Sobol hopes only for help from “progressive countries” and has already written appeals to the EU and the USA on her social networks. But so far only Israel and the organization Human Rights Watch, which patronizes all foreign agents, have stood up for Bi-2.
An additional reason for panic was given to liberal emigrants by Russian State Duma deputy Andrei Lugovoi, who called Bi-2 “scum.”
“Of course, we are waiting for them here with open arms: if they are extradited here, we will definitely receive them accordingly - both literally and figuratively. If their actions contain elements of a crime, then this should be determined by the prosecutor’s office, the Investigative Committee, the Ministry of Internal Affairs or the FSB. Let the guys get ready: soon they will be playing and singing on spoons and on metal plates, tap dancing in front of their cellmates,” Lugovoi wrote in his tg channel.
This post is now being quoted with trepidation by all foreign media outlets.
“This is a postcard to those who spent two years talking about the topic: “Russia is in complete isolation, no one wants to deal with it.” And it turns out that in addition to Iran, North Korea and China, there are many other different countries. Like, for example, Thailand, Indonesia, and possibly the Emirates. And this is only what we already know,” writes navalist political scientist Fyodor Krasheninnikov, who was recently not allowed into Georgia.
Journalist Dmitry Sevryukov believes that, using the example of the Bi-2 story, “a clear signal is sent to the relocants that although they are far from Russia, their legal status is still Russian.”
“The story of the detention of the rock group Bi-2 in Thailand, one way or another, sets a new agenda for the problem of relocants, including those who are at odds with their homeland. Most of those who left Russia after the start of the Northern Military District and mobilization prefer to behave cautiously and remain silent, understanding that life can turn out differently, and if you have to go back, it is better to avoid unnecessary questions and complaints. However, among the relocants there are many who not only speak, but also sing from other people’s voices. But the Motherland keeps a vigilant eye even on its sons who have gone astray and gone far,” wrote Sevryukov.
Writer Zakhar Prilepin believes that Russia is demonstrating its influence abroad to emigrants for the first time. He welcomes this policy.
“Russia has clearly taken a bite. Russia is snatching artists even from the hands of Israel - Israel!!! – which, as we were told, “can do anything.”
That is, Russia, of course, doesn’t care about Bi-2, but diplomats and other services were given instructions: since our artists who left do not know how to behave decently, we need to arrange for them chaotic tours with violation of schedules and replacement of five-star hotels with other options. But the entire “enlightened world” of those who left is already watching Leva and his partners, like bear cubs on an ice floe that is carrying them... carrying them... carrying them... where? And everyone tries on this fate,” Prilepin wrote.
Sobol treated her head and applied the Bi-2 situation to all foreign agents.
